Another track revealed from Before the Big Bang: it’s the traditional folk tune “Sourwood Mountain,” performed as a square dance with calls and recorded in July 1924 by Whitter’s Virginia Breakdowners. Henry Whitter is on guitar, John Rector is on banjo, and James Sutphin plays fiddle. Enjoy!
